Arul Kural is the sacred guidance bestowed upon humanity by
Maha Siddhar Agathiyar through Siddhamma. Similar in structure
to the revered Thirukural, each Arul Kural consists of two
lines in Tamil, carrying profound spiritual depth, moral
insight, and divine wisdom meant for the upliftment of mankind.
Siddhamma receives these divine verses during deep meditation, when she is in an
elevated state of consciousness and fully aligned with Agathiyar Ayya. In this state of divine
communion, the Arul Kurals manifest to her as written words—pure transmissions of
spiritual truth rather than human composition.
Arul Kural and Thirukural – A Sacred Continuity
The timeless Thirukural, gifted to the world by Sage Thiruvalluvar nearly 5,000 years ago, remains one of the greatest treasures of Tamil spirituality and ethics. However, its classical and ancient Tamil language has made it difficult for many—especially the younger generation—to fully comprehend and internalize its wisdom.
Understanding this, Maha Siddhar Agathiyar compassionately revealed the Arul Kural in contemporary Tamil, making divine wisdom accessible, simple, and relatable to people of all ages and backgrounds. While rooted in the same spiritual essence as the Thirukural, Arul Kural serves as a living, evolving guide suited to the present times.
